If you open KPIBees and get a "multiple accounts login detected" error, an "authorization required" error or a "permission denied" type of error, continue reading this article.

The error is caused by the fact that you are logged in with multiple Google accounts in the same browser. Unfortunately, it's a Google Sheets bug that is several years old - and all Google Sheets add-ons have this issue. We hope that Google fixes it soon, but in the meanwhile here is how you can make it work:

  • Open an Incognito browsing session and log in with the user where you are using KPIBees.

  • You can use this method to check that it works. Then you can head over to the hard(er) fix.

  • By following these steps, you will be able to use KPIBees when logged in with multiple Google Accounts.

  • Log out of all the Google accounts in your browsing session. Next, log in first with the user where you want to use KPIBees. Then log in with all the other Google Accounts.

  • It's advisable to use KPIBees only on one Google Account. If you installed it for more accounts, uninstall it from your secondary account(s).

  • Make sure that you are using the spreadsheet as the Google account that you installed KPIBees for. For example, you might have installed KPIBees on your Gmail account, but you are viewing the spreadsheet with your Google Business account. In this case, switch the Google user from the top-right.
