By default, it does not work to connect to a database hosted on your localhost. We don't recommend that you attempt to make it work because the process is tedious.

If you want to use KPIBees, we recommend that you host your database in a cloud hosting provider which offers the needed setup out of the box.

If you still want to go down this path of accessing your localhost with KPIBees. You would need to expose the database hosting port on your public IP. Use this port scanner to check whether you have successfully exposed your database IP/port.
